I’m Sam Viola, founder of Uproute Travel and a lifelong traveler who believes the best trips are the ones that feel personal. I’ve visited 76 countries across six continents and have been planning travel for more than a decade, bringing the perspective of someone who genuinely loves being out in the world.

For me, great travel planning isn’t about checking destinations off a list. It’s about understanding what matters to you, knowing where to invest your time and money, and creating an experience that gives you more of what you hoped for when you decided to take the trip in the first place.

In March 2028, I’m leading a very special, invite-only safari to Tanzania for just 16 guests. We’ll travel through Arusha, Ndutu, the Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro region, staying in beautiful luxury tented camps and experiencing the best of safari without having to worry about the details once you’re on the ground.

Accommodations, game drives, meals, and drinks will all be taken care of, giving you the freedom to be present for the landscapes, wildlife, and moments that make Tanzania so extraordinary.
