Communication:

Transportation:
Airplane: Air travel is not very common within Slovenia. Getting here from the US will require at least one, potentially two, connections.
Bus: Undoubtedly the most popular way to get around Slovenia. Buses are cheap and easy to find. My go-to website for this is Bookaway.
Taxi/Uber: Taxi are cheap and not too difficult to find. Make sure cabbies run their meter (if they have one). If not, be sure to agree on a price beforehand.
Rental Car: I highly recommend renting a car and driving around this country! The landscapes are stunning and many of the best places to see are not reachable via public transportation.
Miscellaneous:
Slovenia is one of my favorite European countries! The food, people, and natural beauty are world-class. Truly a hidden gem!
